Role Overview 

As the Assistant Training Solutions Manager for the NHS and Healthcare Hub at Cambridge Spark, you will be responsible for screening learner levels, selling an appropriate solution to eligible candidates of either an apprenticeship, professional programmes and skills boot camps. You will support the sales process end to end, including closing new prospects and individual expressions of interest for the Senior Training Solutions Manager (STSM) and Training Solutions Director (TSD)

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Converting learner level leads to generate either an Apprenticeship Start, Professional Programme sale or signposting to a Skills Boot Camp depending upon eligibility
  • Upselling learner level deals to the STSM by passing sales qualified leads in line with the definition of an employer account
  • Identify and build relationships with organisations which can act as distribution channels to generate qualified leads for our apprenticeship, Boot Camp and Corporate Training business
  • Generate qualified leads through outreach, referrals and networking to convert to sales from NHS & Healthcare target list
  • Support closing new deals for the STSM and TSD in a timely manner for cohort starts 
  • Support with closing individual expressions of interest for the Hub
  • Responsible for executing the sales strategy using the MEDDICC qualification methodology, 
  • Working towards a sales target
  • Work collaboratively with your sales colleagues to share best practices and contribute to a great working culture
 

Candidate Specification: 

Essential

  • Previous sales experience in a target and KPI driven environment
  • Strong telephone and presentation skills
  • Excellent IT Skills including familiarity with Google Docs
  • Self starter that can generate their own pipeline of B2B leads through outreach, networking, referrals etc
  • Hunger to learn and continually improve
  • Ability to adapt to a constantly changing fast paced environment
  • Satisfactory Employment and Disclosure and Barring checks
  • Self motivated and comfortable with home working environment

Desirable

  • Knowledge of Education, Apprenticeship, Skills Boot Camp and Training Sector
  • Experience of Sales Qualification methodologies such as MEDDICC, SPIN, BANT
